Getting started

What the workspace does, and what happens after a download.

Do I need an account or a paid plan?

No account is required to use the current generator, image reader or batch tools. You can create a code and download it directly. The downloaded static QR code is not attached to a trial timer or a subscription.

Which QR content types can I create?

The generator supports website links, text, WiFi, WhatsApp, contact cards, email, phone calls, SMS, coordinates, map addresses, calendar events, public file or PDF links, and app-store links. Some encode information directly; others encode a web address that opens an existing destination.

What does a static QR code mean?

The QR pattern contains the information you entered, such as a message or a URL. Scanning reads that stored information. Flavorixa does not place a managed redirect between your downloaded static code and its destination.

Will my code expire or have a scan limit?

The downloaded image has no built-in expiry date or scan counter. A destination website, file or third-party service can still be removed, restricted or changed by its owner. A readable code cannot make an unavailable destination work.

Can I change the content after downloading or printing?

To change information encoded in a static QR code, generate a new image and replace the old one. If the code links to a webpage you control, you can change that page while keeping its URL. Changing the encoded URL itself requires a new code.

Design & printing

Choose a style that looks right and remains practical to scan.

Which parts of the design can I customize?

Choose a quick style or adjust the foreground and background colors, square, rounded or dotted modules, frame and frame caption. You can also add a small logo, choose an export size, and adjust error correction and the clear border. The preview updates as you work.

What logo files are supported?

Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP under 2 MB. The image is processed locally and placed in a small central area; error correction is set to the maximum setting while a logo is present. Use a simple, recognizable mark and test the exported code, because a logo can still make scanning harder.

Should I choose PNG or SVG?

PNG is a raster image suited to everyday sharing and documents. SVG is a vector format that can be resized without making the QR pattern blurry, which is useful for print layouts. Both include the selected design. Keep the proportions square and avoid cropping the clear border.

What image sizes are available?

Single-code PNG and SVG exports can be set to 512, 1024, 2048 or 4096 pixels square. For SVG, the pattern remains vector-based when resized. A larger pixel count does not compensate for poor contrast, a damaged image or an unavailable destination.

How large should a printed code be?

There is no single size that works for every distance, data density and printing method. The quality panel provides a starting estimate. Print a sample at its final size, keep the clear border, and test it with a phone under the lighting and at the distance your audience will use.

What do error correction and the quiet zone do?

Error correction adds redundancy to help a scanner recover some damaged or obscured information; it is not a guarantee that a styled code will scan. The quiet zone is the clear space around the pattern. Flavorixa offers 4, 6 or 8 modules of clear space and M, Q or H correction, with H used automatically for logos.

Content & compatibility

Prepare the right details for the action you want a scan to perform.

Can people see the password in a WiFi code?

Yes. A WiFi QR code can contain the network name and password, and someone who can read the code may be able to recover those details. Use a guest network for public sharing. If the password changes, replace the code. Network-joining support depends on the phone and scanner.

Why does a contact card look different on another phone?

Flavorixa encodes a vCard, but scanner and contacts apps differ in how they interpret fields. Check the name, phone, email, company and address on your intended devices. Only include information you have permission to share, because the printed code can be copied or photographed.

How do calendar-event timezones work?

Enter a start and end time and choose either your device timezone or UTC. The calendar data is exported with UTC timestamps, and an ICS file is available for calendar events. Test the imported event in your calendar app; not every QR scanner offers calendar import. The end time must be later than the start.

Does File / PDF upload or host my document?

No. This type encodes the public file URL you supply. Upload the document to a host you control or another suitable service, then provide its accessible link. Test it while signed out. A login-protected file will still require permission when someone scans its code.

Does the app-store code detect Android and iPhone automatically?

No. It opens the Apple App Store or Google Play listing URL you enter. It is a direct link rather than a device-based smart redirect. Confirm that the listing is correct and available to your intended audience before distributing the code.

Can I use non-English text?

Text is encoded using UTF-8, including Arabic and other non-Latin characters. Longer text creates a denser pattern, and some scanner apps interpret text differently. Shorten very long content or link to a webpage or document, then test with the phones your audience uses.

Reader & batch tools

Inspect existing images and prepare more than one code at a time.

How do I prepare a CSV batch?

Use the columns name, content and type. The type must be url or text. A batch can contain up to 50 entries in a CSV under 64 KB, with up to 1800 characters per content field. Download the example CSV from the Bulk create tab to see the expected structure.

How should I format commas or line breaks in CSV content?

Wrap a field containing commas or line breaks in double quotes. To include a literal double quote inside a quoted field, write it twice. Each data row must have the same number of columns as the header. The validator reports malformed quotes, missing content and unsupported types before creating the batch.

What is included in the batch download?

The ZIP contains a separate SVG file for each validated entry, using your current design. Batch print prepares 50 mm QR labels on A4 sheets. If you change the data or design, validate the batch again so its files match the current settings. Single-code PNG download is available in the Create QR tab.

Which images can the QR reader open?

Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP image under 10 MB and below 30 megapixels. Use a clear image containing one complete code and its border. Reading happens locally. The result is shown as text for inspection; a decoded web address is not opened automatically.

Why can the reader or scan check fail?

Blur, cropped borders, weak contrast, dense content, an oversized logo or very small modules can prevent decoding. Try a sharper image or a simpler design. Passing the local digital check is useful, but you should still test the exported file and a printed sample with a phone.

Privacy & support

Where data is processed and how to report a problem safely.

Are my QR inputs, logos or images stored on this site?

The QR tools process your inputs, logo, QR images and CSV content in your browser. The tools do not transmit that content to WordPress or save it in the site database. Downloaded files remain where you save them. A QR code itself can be read by anyone who has a usable copy.

Does Flavorixa collect scan statistics?

The current static-code tools do not provide scan analytics, managed redirects or a dashboard for changing printed destinations. A website that your code links to may collect its own visits or require a login under that website's policies.

Is a contact-form message processed the same way as QR data?

No. The draft Contact form submits test details to the site for field validation. It currently does not send email or store contact messages. Message delivery and its data handling will be explained when enabled. Use harmless test details rather than passwords, private network credentials or confidential QR content.

What should I include when reporting a problem?

Describe the QR type, the action you attempted, what you expected and what happened instead. Include the browser, device and any visible error message. Use a harmless example where possible; never include an actual password, private contact list or secret link just to demonstrate a bug.

Something still unclear?

A useful report helps us understand the problem. Share the steps and the error, rather than private QR content.
