A code can be readable and still point to an incorrect, restricted or unsafe destination. Verify both the pattern and the information behind it.
1. The purpose of the tools
Flavorixa provides tools for encoding content, reading a QR image and preparing exports. The tools are not a certification service for the accuracy, safety, ownership or suitability of the content supplied by a user.
Information on the help pages explains the current workflow. It does not promise that every external device, scanner, printer, messaging app or calendar application will interpret every feature identically.
2. Scan and print reliability
The built-in digital scan check can confirm whether the rendered code is decoded to the expected input in that test. It cannot reproduce every real-world printing condition. Weak contrast, insufficient clear space, a small print, a large logo, damage, reflections and viewing distance can all affect the result.
Check the exported file and a physical sample with the intended devices before a large print run. Error correction adds redundancy; it is not permission to cover an arbitrary area of the code or a guarantee that a design will remain readable.
3. Links and third-party content
A correctly encoded URL may still be mistyped, expired, removed, login-protected or unsuitable for the intended audience. A decoded link is not automatically safe. Inspect the complete destination before opening or sharing an unfamiliar address.
External websites, documents, maps, app listings and messaging services are controlled by their operators. Flavorixa does not endorse them simply because a code can point to them, and does not guarantee their availability, permissions or data practices.
4. Sensitive and personal information
A QR code is an encoding format, not encryption. People with access to a readable code may recover the data inside it, including WiFi credentials or contact details. Share only information you are entitled to disclose and use a guest network for public WiFi codes.
Local processing does not make a printed code secret. Consider where copies will be placed and whether they can be photographed, forwarded or retained by others.
5. Static-code limitations
The downloaded static image keeps the original encoded content. Flavorixa cannot remotely edit, revoke or track the copies you distribute. If the stored information changes, generate a replacement code and update your printed or shared copies.
A linked webpage can be edited by its owner without changing its address. If that address changes, the existing code still contains the old one. The File / PDF option stores a link, not the document itself.
6. Compatibility and affiliations
WiFi joining, vCard import, calendar import, SMS formatting and app-store handling depend on the receiving software. Test these actions on the devices your audience will use and check any imported details, including timezones.
References to third-party services describe a supported type of content or destination. They do not imply that Flavorixa is an official partner, representative or endorsed service.
7. Responsibility and further help
Use the tools with the checks appropriate to the task. Nothing in this notice removes a right or responsibility that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
The FAQ covers common problems and the Terms of Use set out acceptable use. The Contact page states whether message delivery is currently available.
